<br />REQUEST FOR PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br /> <br />proval: <br /> <br />Date: 05/01/02 <br />Item No: 7b <br />Agenda Section: <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Request by Brent Thompson & Brentwood Town Offices for a variance <br />to Section 1009.03M regarding the placement of a ground (monument) <br />sign setback from the east (Lexington Avenue) property line (PF3391). <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />1.1 Brent Thompson & the Brentwood Town Offices owner's association has applied for a <br />variance to Section 1009 .03M of the Roseville City Code to allow the installation of a <br />ground (monument) sign at the property line or an encroachment of 15-feet into the 15 <br />foot front yard setback adjacent to Lexington Avenue. The property is located at 2332 to <br />2340 Lexington Avenue, just north of Trunk Highway 36 and on the east side of <br />Lexington Avenue <br /> <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br /> <br />. Application submitted on April 2, 2002 <br />. Determined complete on April 24, 2002 <br />. 60-day review deadline on June 23,2002 <br />. Staff Review: Approval with conditions - May 1, 2002 <br />. Planning Commission: Hearing - May 1, 2002 <br />. Anticipated Council Action - May 20, 2002 <br /> <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />2.1 The Community Development Staff recommends approval of the request by the Mr. <br />Brent Thompson for a 14 foot variance allowing the installation of a ground (monument) <br />sign one foot off (east) of the property line adjacent Lexington Avenue, subject to the <br />conditions indicated in Section 6 of this project report. <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />3.1 By motion recommend approval (see Section 7 for more detail). <br /> <br />Project Specifics Staff Findings, Policy & Fiscal Implications, Detailed Recommendation, and <br />Suggested Planning Commission Action on following pages. <br /> <br />PF3391 RPeA 050102 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
