September 25,2001

Mr. Brad Hoff
1897 Shady Beach Avenue
Roseville, MN 55113

RE: Installation of lIOn-conforming fence.

Dear Mr. Hoff:

On August 14, 2001 the Roseville Community Development Department mailed you a letter
regarding the recent installation of a fence in the front yard on your property. The fence does not
meet the four-foot code requirement and must be reduced. The City gave you 30 days from
receipt of the letter to comply or further action would be sought.

On September 25, 2001, the Community Development Department inspected the fence located in
your front yard and determined thatthe height had not been reduced to the required height of the
City Code. Having not reduced the height of the fence or applied for a variance, the City is
issuing you the attached Administrative Offense Ticket.

To avoid further legal action you can either reduce the height to comply with the City Code or
apply for a variance. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 651-490-2236.

Sincerely,

CITY'fROSEVILLE

Thomas Paschke
City Planner

cc: Don Munson, Permit Coordinator
Dennis Welsch, Community Development Director

2660 Civic Center Drive +:+ Roseville +:+ Minnesota +:. 55113
651-490-2200 +:+ TDD 651-490-2207 +:. wW\N.ci.roseville.mn.us
