Shiely <br /> <br />FROM: Jessica Kuchta-Miller, Director of Mediation Services <br /> <br />Re: Proposed mediation @Ift <br /> <br />As the Director of Mediation Services at the Dispute Resolution Center, ~uld like <br />to invite you to try mediation in regard to the issues concerning: <br /> <br />neighbor relations. <br /> <br />The Dispute Resolution Center is a non-profit, community mediation center <br />designed to help people resolve their disputes. We are not advocates for any <br />.lli!rtt. Rather, we offer the opportunity to people in conflict to resolve their <br />disputes through the use of mediation. Mediation is a process in which parties meet <br />with a neutral mediator to discuss the issues important to all concerned parties, to <br />explore possible solutions and to work toward developing a mutually agreeable <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Mediation is a voluntary orocess. Therefore, it is up to you as to whether you <br />choose to participate. Agreeing to mediate means only that you are willing to meet <br />with a mediator to discuss the issues that exist between you. Ifno agreement is <br />reached in mediation, you are free to pursue all other options available to you. <br /> <br />Ordinarily, individual fees for our services are $25.00 per party, per session. <br />However, as an incentive for you to resolve this matter through the use of <br />mediation, the City of Roseville has offered to pay each of your respective fees. <br /> <br />I encoura2e you call me at 651-292-7791 to indicate whether you are interested in <br />meeting to resolve this matter and any additional issues that may need to be <br />discussed during mediation. I understand that parties may want to expedite the <br />scheduling of a mediation. If this information is correct, please find enclosed a <br />calendar where you may indicate your availability to meet. Please return your <br />calendar in the enclosed envelope. I will schedule a session only at a time that is <br />convenient to all parties. Please provide the following information: <br /> <br />1. All dates on which you are willing to mediate, excluding Sundays. <br /> <br />2. For each date, please indicate whether you would be available in the <br />morning, afternoon or evening. Generally, sessions are two hours in <br />length. <br /> <br />A~!:ain. I invite you to try mediation. Please contact me at your earliest <br />convenience. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have concerning <br />mediation at that time. If you agree to participate, a session will be scheduled <br />according to the availability of all parties and the mediators. <br />
