<br />City of Roseville <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />Re: Request for minor variance <br /> <br />Planning Dept: <br /> <br />As the owner of the single family home located at 1747 Chatsworth Street, Roseviile, I am <br />requesting a minor variance. I have two projects which would require a variance. <br /> <br />First, I would like to build a garage straight back from my driveway. My CI.H'nmt garage is <br />very narrow and is at a ninety degree angle from the driveway, making it l.,musable for my <br />auto. To build a usable garage, I would need to have a two foot setback on the south side <br />of my lot. This would however, be consistent with other use in the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Additionally, I want to replace my yard shed which I recently tore down because the floor <br />rotted out making it dangerous. The shed foundation is set back approximately 4 feet <br />from the west and north lot line. Allowing the construction to utilize the current <br />foundation would save costs and not make it necessary to potentially damage tree roots. <br /> <br />My neighbors have been made aware of these improvements and have confirmed in <br />writing that they have no objections. <br /> <br />Thank you for reviewing my request. <br />
