The property is zoned R-l, <br />Single Family Residential District with a Comprehensive Plan Designation of LR, Low <br />Density Residential. <br /> <br />3.2 The Freeman property is surrounded by residential homes on the north, south, east, and <br />west. To the southeast lies Howard Johnson Park. <br /> <br />3.3 Mr. Freeman is requesting the variance from Section 1012.02B2 of the Roseville Zoning <br />Ordinance to increase the height of a fence in a front yard to six feet. The Freeman lot is <br />a corner lot with frontage along W oodhill Drive and Huron Street. <br /> <br />3.4 The Freeman home is addressed off of Wood hill Drive, which under City Code is a side <br />yard. The front yard, as prescribed by the City Code, is that which fronts along Huron <br />Street. In the case of the Freeman's the true front yard is used as a side yard. <br /> <br />3.5 The Freeman's desire privacy and sound screen for their home and would like to <br />construct a six-foot tall fence from their south property line to the home.
