<br /> <br />August 24, 2001 <br /> <br />Mr. William Majerus <br />2089 Irene Street <br />Roseville, Milmesota 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Setback Permitfor construction of addition to garage and hOllse on property located at <br />2089 Irene Street <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Majerus: <br /> <br />On August 16, 2001, the City of Roseville Development Review Committee (DRC) held a <br />hearing on your request to allow construction of an addition to the existing garage and house to <br />create a larger attached garage and screened porch on the rear of the existing home on the <br />property listed above. The Setback Permit you requested specifically sought a six-foot <br />encroaclm1ent for a small portion of the attached garage into the required 30-foot rear yard <br />setback. The DRC reviewed your development plans and recommended that the request be <br />approved. <br /> <br />The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I have concurred with the reasoning set forth by <br />the DRC and have approved the Setback Permit. I also concur with the DRC conditions attached <br />to the setback permit, which are as follows: <br /> <br />· The inclusion of at least one additional window along the north garage wall; <br />· Installation of gutters around the garage and porch, where possible, to properly direct <br />roof drainage to the property; <br />· Modification of the site survey to include arrows indicating lot drainage. <br /> <br />On Monday, August 27, the 10-day appeal period will end, allowing the City to issue permits <br />regarding your project. You, or your contractor(s), may now apply for your building permit, <br />which generally takes approximately one week to process.
