It evolves over decades according to principles agreed <br />upon by residents and city officials. The Roseville City Council and volunteer commissioners <br />prepare the Comprehensive Plan to evaluate Roseville at present and to guide future growth <br />in the City. The plan looks at housing, parks, roads, businesses and community centers in <br />RoseviUe and sets the parameters for future development according to projected needs and <br />policies. The Comprehensive Plan is annually reviewed, revised and approved by the Roseville <br />Planning Commission and City Council. The City Council is elected and comprised of one <br />Mayor and four Council members. The Planning Commission is comprised of seven volunteer <br />members of the community, appointed by the City Council. <br /> <br />The Comprehensive Plan answers all kinds of questions you may ask. It is the best source of <br />demographic data about who resides and works in the City of Roseville.lt indudes goals for <br />the community based upon answers to these and other planning questions: <br />" How many people will live in Roseville in 20 years? <br />" How is the population of RoseviUe changing over time? <br />..
