<br />3.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />3.1 The Community Development staff recommends affirming these changes and officially <br />including them in the 2001 - 2002 Plan. <br /> <br />4.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br /> <br />4.1 On January 2, 2002, the Planning Commission opened the public hearing on the <br />Comprehensive Plan and 2002 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) affirmation, <br />requested public comment on both and on the inclusion of the updates/changes <br />recommended by staff regarding the Comprehensive Plan. No citizen comments were <br />received. <br /> <br />4.2 The Planning Commission recommended adoption of the 2001 - 2002 updated <br />Comprehensive Plan. The Commission also advised the Council, that after review, the <br />Comprehensive Plan and the Capital Improvement Plan the 2002 CIP have been <br />determined to be consistent. <br /> <br />5.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />5.1 By motion, affirm the 2001 changes and revised reformat, officially include the <br />changes in the Plan, and adopt the 2001 Comprehensive Plan, noting that it is <br />consistent with the 2002 Capital Improvement Program. <br /> <br />Note: The complete plan and appendix will be available for distribution to the public n CDs from <br />the Community Development Department for a cost of $5.00.
