I
have been a resident of Roseville since 1957.

Our home has always been a pleasure for us to update and maintain. We now realize, however,
that the large yard and maintenance on the home is almost too much for us to handle.

Our plan over the last two years has been to move into a townhouse. But we haven't been able to
find one in the Roseville area or surrounding suburbs that could even come close in comparison to
the area we love so much around McCarrons Lake. Even existing townhouses that are near our
area such as Cobblestone Court or the Roselawn & Lexington complex almost never come up for
sale mainly because of their great location.

Dividing our lot would provide us with the means to stay in Roseville and allow us to build a home
that would be ideal for us after we retire. We have already designed a custom home for the lot that
would meet or exceed all of Roseville's building requirements. Frontage of the current lot is 263
feet. After the division, each lot would still have a big frontage with 125 feet and 138 feet respective-
ly.

The home would not only be an asset to our neighborhood in terms of aesthetics and property val-
ues, but it would also be built and maintained with respect to the beauty of the wooded areas in the
immediate area. I believe It would also be a home design of high interest among other residents
who are experiencing some of the same issues and lifestyle changes at this age.

Another bonus of the division would be to open the possibility for another young family to move to
Roseville, as happened when we subdivided and sold our adjoining back lot.

Thank you for your consideration.

R espectfu Ily,

Jim and Linda Robinson
