<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />HELD: September 3, 2002 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of <br />the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 3rd <br />day of September, 2002, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Klausing, Kough, Schroeder and <br />Kysylyczyn, and the following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 10030 <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR AN ELECTION ON <br />$9,700,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR PUBLIC <br />SAFETY AND PUBLIC WORKS FACILITIES <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota (the "City"), as follows: <br /> <br />1. Proiect. This Council has investigated the facts and does hereby find, determine <br />and declare that it is necessary and expedient to issue general obligation bonds to defray the <br />expense of the acquisition and betterment of public safety and public works facilities. <br /> <br />2. Election. The proposition of authorizing the issuance of not to exceed $9,700,000 <br />general obligation bonds for said purpose shall be submitted to the qualified electors of the City <br />at a special election to be held on November 5, 2002. Said election shall be held between the <br />hours of seven o'clock a.m. and eight o'clock p.m. The polling places for said election shall be <br />Centennial United Methodist Church located at 1524 County Road C-2 West for Precinct No.1; <br />the Roseville Covenant Church located at 2865 Hamline Avenue North for Precinct No.2; the <br />Prince of Peace Lutheran Church located at 2561 Victoria Street North for Precinct No.3; the <br />North Heights Lutheran Church located at 2701 Rice Street North for Precinct No.4; the <br />Fairview Community Center located at 1910 County Road B West for Precinct No.5; the <br />National American University located at 1500 Highway 36 West for Precinct No.6; the Grace <br />Church located at 1310 County Road B West for Precinct No.7; the Parkview School located at <br />701 County Road B2 West for Precinct No.8; the Roseville Lutheran Church located at 1215 <br />Roselawn Avenue West for Precinct No.9; and the National Guard Training Center located at <br />211 McCarrons Boulevard North for Precinct No. 10, in the City. <br /> <br />1438493vl <br />
