<br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />August 20, 2002 <br /> <br />Mr. Paul Rudolph <br />Viking Racing Pigeon Club <br />716 County Road C <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Request for Variances to Section 1004.02D4 and Section 1004.01A6 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Rudolph: <br /> <br />The purpose of this letter is to confirm the City Council's actions of August 19,2002, relative to <br />your request for a variance to allow a shed to be placed within the required 30 foot setback from a <br />public right-of-way, and a variance to allow a previously completed driveway replacement a <br />slight addition to remain, creating a total impervious coverage estimated at 32%. However, your <br />contractor for the cement driveway, Landmark Construction, must pay a doubled fee for the <br />construction of the drive without a pem1it. <br /> <br />The approved variances are: <br />1) A variance to Section 1004.01A6: <br />2) A variance to Section l004.02D4: <br /> <br />270 square feet or 2% <br />23 feet, 3 inches. <br /> <br />This approval is contingent upon your compliance with the following conditions: <br />A The shed being screened with a year-round landscaping on the south and a <br />portion of the east of the property directly adjacent said shed. <br />B The applicant submitting and receiving a permit for the driveway work <br />completed consistent with the approved variance. <br />C The applicant submitting and receiving a permit for the garden shed, <br />consistent with the approved variance. <br /> <br />The Resolution approving the variances will be signed by the appropriate City officials, after <br />which a copy will be forwarded to your attention and a copy will be filed with Ramsey County. <br /> <br />If you have any questions relative to the Council's action, please call me at 651.490.2232. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Dennis P.
