Dear Mr. Rudolph: On Wednesday, July 10,2002 the Roseville Planning Commission voted (5-1) to recommended approval of your request for a variance to allow impervious coverage over 30% and a shed to be closer than 30 feet from a public street right-of-way, subject to five conditions. However, prior to this item being forwarded to the City Council for final action, the Community Development Department requires the completion of the property survey as required in condition "a" of project report. Upon receipt of this information, I will review and verify the survey information; make the necessary corrections to the project report; forward your request to the City Council for action; and notify you of the Council meeting date. Without the survey information the Community Development Staff is unable to complete your request. Specifically, a variance (deviation) from the City Code needs to be exact and in your case, the City requires the exact impervious coverage on the parcel and the shed distance from the east property line. The survey information must reach my attention by Monday, July 22 to be eligible for the Monday, July 29 City Council meeting. Please note that the exact shed location and the exact amount of impervious coverage are necessary for both the City Council report and the resolution that is recorded against your property.
