Planninl:!: File 3396: Request by Richard Vazquez for a 7-112 foot <br />4 variance to Section 1004.04D5 (Minimum Yard Requirements - Front <br />5 Yard Setback) to allow the construction of a porch onto the front of the <br />6 existing home at 812 Lovell Avenue, 22-112 feet from front property line. <br />7 <br />8 Chairman Duncan opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas <br />9 Paschke provide a summary of the project report dated June 5, 2002. <br />10 <br />11 Richard Vazquez has submitted an application for a 7.5 foot variance to Section <br />12 1004.04D5 (Minimum Yard Requirements - Front Yard Setback) to allow the <br />13 construction of a front porch onto his existing home at 812 Lovell Avenue, to <br />14 within 22.5 feet of the front property line. <br />15 <br />16 Thomas Paschke reviewed the requirements for a variance and recommended <br />17 approval of the variance. <br />18 <br />19 Mr. Vazquez explained he has remodeled much of the house including the <br />20 basement and the siding. <br />21 <br />22 Member Cunningham commended the applicant on the design. <br />23 <br />24 Chair Duncan closed the hearing. <br />25 Motion: Member Mulder moved, seconded by Member Bakeman, to <br />26 recommend approval of a 7.5 foot variance from Section 1004.04D5 of the <br />27 Roseville City Code for Richard Vazquez, to allow construction of a covered <br />28 porch onto the existing principal structure at 812 Lovell Avenue, to within <br />29 22.5 feet of the front property line, based on the findings of Section 5 and <br />30 conditions of Section 6 ofthe project report dated June 5, 2002. <br />31 <br />32 Ayes: 5 <br />33 Nays: 0 <br />34 Motion carried. <br />35 <br />
