The City Council will not act as the HRA.

2. A citizen advisory housing board will not be created by the City Council at this time. The HRA is this citizen
board.

The following work needs to be completed within the deadlines I have set below. This is in addition to moving
forward at full speed on processing the general paperwork for the HRA.

1. A revised HRA citizen application form will be drafted for my approval by this Friday, July 12, 4:30pm. I will
approve any final drafts or changes, major or minor, prior to printing.

2. The date of July 31 will be set for the application deadline. While I doubt it will be necessary, I do reserve the
right to extend this deadline.

3. A press release shall be prepared and published if possible by the end of this week, with my final approval.
will approve any final drafts or changes, major or minor, prior to printing.

4. List of dates that Ms. Bennett would be available to sit in on interviews. Dates would be between 7/22 and
8/2. I personally will conduct interviews with promising applicants at their convenience.

Staff has an opportunity to have input on these last four items. If the deadlines are not met, I will bypass staff and
move forward with these issues on my own.

All questions on these 6 items shall be directed to me personally at 651-398-5337.

The HRA has been approved by the City Council. We have even larger projects over the horizon therefore, we
must move forward with no delays.

Mayor John Kysylyczyn
3083 Victoria Street
Roseville, MN 55113
Home phone (651) 484-1384
Home fax (651)493-1217
Cell (651) 398-JEEP
yvww.rosevillemaYQLcom

------ USF,:1mi1y,NGt - Unlimited Internet - From $8.99/mo! m___

07/19/2002
