<br />housing issues, while taking <br />note of how these issues affect <br />our local schools. <br />Roseville homeowner Sam <br />Marks was also appointed to a <br />five-year term on the newly <br />created HRA board. Marks is a <br />retired public school teacher <br />and is currently the Neighbor- <br />hood Watch Block captain in <br />his area. He was heavily <br />involved in the Arana develop- <br />ment project, which he says <br />created a desire to continue <br />working on fair and affordable <br />housing issues in the commu- <br />nity. <br />The first four-year HRA <br />member is Roseville town- <br />home owner Joseph Scheune- <br />mann. Scheunemann has oper- <br />ated a home remodelingbusi- <br />ness for the past 20 years. In <br />1988, he started doing inspec- <br />tions for local cities requiring <br />time of sale/truth in sale of <br />housing inspections. He is cur- <br />rently licensed in five cities <br />and also conducts private <br />inspections. He is a member of <br />the Minnesota Society of <br />Housing Inspectors, the <br />National Association of Hous- <br />ing Inspectors, and the Ameri- <br /> <br />can Society of Housing Inspec- <br />tors. <br />The remaining four-year <br />term board members is long- <br />term Roseville renter Jeff <br />Boldt. Boldt is currently a <br />senior accounting technician <br />for the state Department of <br />Commerce. He has also been <br />employed by the Department <br />of Trade & Economic Develop- <br />ment, the Office of the Secre- <br />tary of State and the Min- <br />nesota Housing Finance <br />Agency. He also is a volunteer <br />for national sporting events <br />which are hosted locally. <br />Roseville condominium <br />owner Shirley Jenson was <br />appointed to a three-year term. <br />Jenson is currently the secre- <br />tary for the Parkview Terrace <br />Condo Association. As a <br />senior citizen, she is interested <br />and concerned about promot- <br />ing affordable, safe and decent <br />housing for Roseville resi.. <br />dents. As an HRA member, <br />she hopes to address long-term <br />maintenance issues, which <br />will affect housing associa- <br />tions in Roseville over the next <br />two decades. <br />The only two-year term <br /> <br />Roseville Review <br /> <br />went to Roseville homeowner <br />Jeanne Kelsey.Kelsey/cur- <br />rently works for a local hous- <br />ing developer, and is also a cer- <br />tified real estate appraiser. She <br />bas a B.S. degree in urban <br />studies from Mankato State <br />University with an emphasis <br />in housing and economic <br />development. <br />The final appointment, fora <br />single-year term, went to Jen- <br />nifer Jackson Millasovich. A <br />Roseville homeowner, Millaso- <br />vich has a B.S. degree from the <br />University of Wisconsin, is a <br />licensed social worker, and. is <br />currently employed with the <br />Saint Paul Public Housing <br />Agency. She has extensiv~ <br />training in the area of housing <br />law, and has the professional <br />experience to assist in develop- <br />ing policies and procedures, in <br />addition to educating the pub- <br />lic on issues of affordable <br />housing for low income, dis- <br />abled and senior citizens. <br />The board's first meeting <br />has yet to be scheduled, <br />according to Curti, pending <br />the approval of the HRA by <br />county and state officials. <br />
