Marks is a retired public school teacher and is currently the Neighbor- hood Watch Block captain in his area. He was heavily involved in the Arana develop- ment project, which he says created a desire to continue working on fair and affordable housing issues in the commu- nity. The first four-year HRA member is Roseville town- home owner Joseph Scheune- mann. Scheunemann has oper- ated a home remodelingbusi- ness for the past 20 years. In 1988, he started doing inspec- tions for local cities requiring time of sale/truth in sale of housing inspections. He is cur- rently licensed in five cities and also conducts private inspections. He is a member of the Minnesota Society of Housing Inspectors, the National Association of Hous- ing Inspectors, and the Ameri- can Society of Housing Inspec- tors. The remaining four-year term board members is long- term Roseville renter Jeff Boldt. Boldt is currently a senior accounting technician for the state Department of Commerce. He has also been employed by the Department of Trade & Economic Develop- ment, the Office of the Secre- tary of State and the Min- nesota Housing Finance Agency. He also is a volunteer for national sporting events which are hosted locally. Roseville condominium owner Shirley Jenson was appointed to a three-year term. Jenson is currently the secre- tary for the Parkview Terrace Condo Association. As a senior citizen, she is interested and concerned about promot- ing affordable, safe and decent housing for Roseville resi.. dents. As an HRA member, she hopes to address long-term maintenance issues, which will affect housing associa- tions in Roseville over the next two decades. The only two-year term Roseville Review went to Roseville homeowner Jeanne Kelsey.Kelsey/cur- rently works for a local hous- ing developer, and is also a cer- tified real estate appraiser. She bas a B.S. degree in urban studies from Mankato State University with an emphasis in housing and economic development. The final appointment, fora single-year term, went to Jen- nifer Jackson Millasovich. A Roseville homeowner, Millaso- vich has a B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin, is a licensed social worker, and. is currently employed with the Saint Paul Public Housing Agency. She has extensiv~ training in the area of housing law, and has the professional experience to assist in develop- ing policies and procedures, in addition to educating the pub- lic on issues of affordable housing for low income, dis- abled and senior citizens. The board's first meeting has yet to be scheduled, according to Curti, pending the approval of the HRA by county and state officials.
