<br />6.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />6.1 Based on the information provided and the findings in Section 5 of this project report, <br />staff recommends approval ofa 638 square foot (6%) variance to Section 1004.01A6 of <br />the Roseville City Code for James & Lucy Wrede to allow home and site improvements <br />at 2078 Irene Street, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />A All building and site improvements shall not exceed 4,013 square feet of <br />. . <br />ImpervIOUS area. <br /> <br />B The review and approval of a building permit consistent with the approved plans <br />and variance. <br /> <br />C The installation of roof gutters to properly direct roof drainage away from the <br />adjacent properties. <br /> <br />D The proposed front porch addition receiving a Setback Permit for its six foot <br />encroachment into the required 30 foot front yard setback. <br /> <br />7.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br /> <br />7.1 On Wednesday, September 4,2002 the Roseville Planning Commission held the public <br />hearing regarding the Wrede variance request. At the hearing the City Planner made a <br />brief presentation detailing the specifics of the Wrede variance request and answered <br />questions by the Commission. No citizens were present to address the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />7.2 The Planning Commission recommend (7-0) approval of a 638 square foot (6%) <br />variance to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code for James & Lucy Wrede, to <br />allow certain home and site improvements at 2078 Irene Street, based on the findings in <br />Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated September 4, 2002. <br /> <br />8.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />8.1 Adopt a resolution granting a 638 square foot (6%) variance to Section 1004.01A6 <br />of the Roseville City Code to James & Lucy Wrede, 2078 Irene Street, allowing <br />certain home and site improvements, based on the findings in Section 5 and <br />conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated September 23, 2002. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (651-490-2236) <br /> <br />Attachments: Location map, narrative, site plan, aerial photo, draft PC minutes, and draft resolution. <br /> <br />PF3420 - RCA 092302 - Page 4 of 4 <br />
