<br /> <br />Community Development Department <br />651-490-2279 . fax: 651-490-2931 <br /> <br />September 24, 2003 <br /> <br />Mr. Michael Davis <br />2730 Griggs Street <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: City Council action on Variance request;2730 Griggs St., Roseville (PF#3518) <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Davis: <br /> <br />This letter is to confirm that on September 22, 2003 the Roseville City Council, by adoption of <br />Resolutions, approved your request for a Conditional Use Permit (City Code, Section <br />1004.0lA3) and Variances (City Code, Section 1004.0lA3 and 1004.0lA6) to allow <br />construction of a 960 square foot detached accessory building in the rear yard of property located <br />at 2730 Griggs Street. This request was granted contingent upon compliance with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />a) A maximum detached accessory building size of 30 feet by 32 feet or 960 sq. ft. <br />b) A maximum impervious coverage of3,564 sq. ft. or 35.6%. <br />c) A maximum accessory building height of 15 feet to the mid-point of the roof truss. <br />d) The detached accessory building being limited to the storage of residential vehicles, <br />lawn and garden items, seasonally used recreational vehicles or items (snowmobiles), <br />household items, and a dog kennel. <br />e) Submittal of a scaled site plan indicating existing and proposed conditions consistent <br />with the above variance conditions. <br />f) Windows being placed on the north and south building wall to break-up the building <br />wall. <br />g) Gutters installed along the eves of the detached accessory building and directed to the <br />parcel's interior yard (northeast) to reduce impacts to the adjacent residential <br />properties. <br />h) The review and approval of a building permit must be consistent with the approved <br />plans and variance. <br /> <br />A copy of the Resolutions, when executed by the appropriate City officials, will be forwarded for <br />filing with Ramsey County. <br /> <br />I have also forwarded a copy of this letter to Gerry Proulx, Residential Building Inspector, for his <br />information when reviewing your application for the building permit. <br />
