<br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Davis to construct a 960 square foot detached accessory <br />building, small paved kennel run, and driveway replacement would create a total impervious <br />coverage of 3,564 square feet or 35.6%; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Davis request on September 3, 2003, recommending (7-0) approval of the 560 square foot <br />Variance to Section 1004.0 lA6 of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction of a 960 <br />square foot detached accessory building, small paved kennel run, and driveway replacement in <br />the rear yard of property located at 2730 Griggs Street, based on the findings of Section 5 and <br />conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated September 3,2003; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br />the request by Michael Davis for a 560 square foot V ARAINCE to Section 1004.01A6 <br />(Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code, subject to the following conditions; <br /> <br />1. A maximum detached accessory building size of 30 feet by 32 feet or 960 sq. f1. <br /> <br />2. A maximum impervious coverage of3,564 sq. f1. or 35.6%. <br /> <br />3. A maximum accessory building height of 15 feet to the mid-point of the roof <br />truss. <br /> <br />4. The detached accessory building being limited to the storage of residential <br />vehicles, lawn and garden items, seasonally used recreational vehicles or items <br />(snowmobiles), household items, and a dog kennel. <br /> <br />5. Submittal of a scaled site plan indicating existing and proposed conditions <br />consistent with the above variance conditions. <br /> <br />6. Windows being placed on the north and south building wall to break-up the <br />building wall. <br /> <br />7. Gutters installed along the eves of the detached accessory building and directed to <br />the parcel's interior yard (northeast) to reduce impacts to the adjacent residential <br />properties. <br /> <br />8. The review and approval of a building permit must be consistent with the <br />approved plans and variance. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Kough and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Maschka, <br />Klausing, Kough and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following voted against: Schroeder <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />2 <br />
