B. <br /> <br />Department Approval: <br />TP /DPW <br /> <br />City Manager Approval: <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />Item Description: <br /> <br />Request by Wally McCarthy Auto Group, 2325 Prior Avenue, for an <br />amendment to a SPECIAL USE PERMIT (now referred to as a <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT) in accordance with Section <br />1005.05C17 and Section 1013.01 (Conditional Use Permits) of the <br />Roseville City Code (PF3523). <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />1.1 Wally McCarthy Auto Group (Cadillac/Hummer of Roseville) seek to amend an existing <br />Special Use Permit that would allow the replacement of the roofed, open air vehicle sales <br />area with a 10,043 sq. ft. Hummer dealership; approval of a 4,800 sq. ft. addition to the <br />service structure; and allowance of a Hummer test track in the rear of the site. <br /> <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br />. Application submitted & determined complete on September 4, 2003. <br />. 60-day review deadline on November 3, 2003. <br />. Staff Review & Recommendation: Approval w/Conditions - October 1,2003. <br />. Planning Commission: Hearing/Approval (6-0) Recommendation - October 1, 2003 <br />. City Council Action: October 20, 2003 <br /> <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />2.1 The Planning Commission & Community Development Staff recommend approval of a <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT in accordance with Section 1013.01 of the Roseville <br />City Code for Wally McCarthy Auto Group allowing certain improvements to the <br />property located at 2325 Prior Avenue, subject to conditions. <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />3.1 Adopt a RESOLUTION approving the request w/conditions (see Section 8 for <br />detailed action). <br /> <br />PF3523 - ReA 102003 - Page 1 of 6 <br />
