<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of September, 2002, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Klausing, Kough, Schroeder, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10036 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 <br />(MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2525 COUNTY ROAD C2 (PF 3424). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Susan McCloskey has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 <br />(Maximum Total Surface Area) in order to construct a driveway connection her home currently <br />under construction (deck & site improvements) existing home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the McCloskey property is located at 2525 County C2 and legally described <br /> <br />at as: <br /> <br />Lot 4, Block 1, Rosewood Knoll Roseville (PID#052923230073) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6limits each residential lot in Roseville to a maximum <br />impervious coverage of 30%; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Susan McCloskey desires to construct a drive way connection between the <br />driveways that access County Road C2 and Old Highway 8 to allow a forward movement and <br />due to her current physical disability; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the McCloskey parcel has been determined to be 14,685 square feet in size, <br />which allows an impervious coverage of 4,405 square feet. The property currently is occupied <br />with 3,106 square feet in structure and 1,382 square feet in pavement, for a total existing <br />impervious coverage of 4,488 square feet. The proposal would add approximately 712 square <br />feet of pavement to the impervious coverage creating a total impervious coverage of 5,200 <br />square feet or 35% coverage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />McCloskey variance request on September 4,2002, and recommended (7-0) approval of the <br />request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report <br />dated September 4, 2002. <br /> <br />1 <br />
