(Ord. 8 854,9-10-1979; amd. 1995 Cade) 9 10 1007.03: 1-2 GENERAL INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS: 11 The General Industrial District is designed primarily far manufacturing, assembling, and 12 fabricatian activities including large scale ar specialized industrial ar motar freight aperatians, 13 whose external physical effects will be felt by surraunding districts. The 1-2 District is structured 14 to' permit the manufacturing, pracessing and campaunding af semi- finished ar finished products 15 from raw material as well as fram previausly prepared material. The 1-2 General Industrial 16 District is intended for certain areas designated as I Industrial areas in the Comprehensive Plan. 17 18 A. Permitted, Accessary, and Conditional Uses: See Use Chart, Section 1007.015. The 19 following uses, shown in Section 1007.015, shall apply to all land and buildings that may be erected, 20 converted, or structurally altered in this zoning district. 21 22 Boo Starage: 23 1. Within Enclased Structure: The following storage shall be conducted wholly within an 24 nclosed structure: 25 a. Inaperative equipment, with "inoperative" being interpreted to mean a state af 26 malfunction, physical deterioratian ar same ather physical canditian rendering the 27 equipment incapable afbeing praperly utilized for its intended purpase and in need af 28 repairs, dispasal ar replacement. 29 b. Inaperative vehicles, with "inaperative" being interpreted to mean a state af 30 malfunctian, deteriaration or ather physical candition rendering the vehicle incapable of 31 mavement under its awn power. Such vehicles would include those invalved in accidents, 32 awaiting engine repairs, in need afbady repair ar painting and similar canditians. 33 2. Within Salid Opaque Wall Or Fence: The fallowing starage shall be canducted whally 34 within an area enclased by a salid apaque wall ar fence nO' less than eight feet (8') in 35 height and anly in a 1-2 General Industrial District: 36 a. Building materials and lumber sales. 37 b. Areas used for rental yards. 38 c. Machinery sales, and bulk firewood sales. 39 d. Dirt, sand, gravel and rack sales. 40 e. Heavy equipment sales.
