<br />,.,. - h, <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of February, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, Klausing <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10205 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D4 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR KARA ROSE <br />998 BROOKS AVENUE (PF3536) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kara Rose has requested a V ARlANCE to Section 1004.02D4 (Comer Lot <br />Setback) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of porch and deck on to the west <br />side of her home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rose parcel is located at 998 Brooks Avenue, and legally described as: <br /> <br />Lot 14, Block 11 C. W. Michaell" Addition <br />PIN: 11-29-23-23-0056 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 1004.02D4 reads: (fa side yard adjacent to a street on a corner lot shall not <br />be less than 30feet"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rose principal structure was constructed in 1956 before the adoption of <br />the City Code and lies 30 feet from the property line adjacent to Aglen Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed condition would place the deck and porch footings 19 feet <br />from the property line adjacent to Aglen Street, which location is an 11 foot encroac1mlent into <br />the required setback; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Rose request, recommending (5-2) approval of an 11 foot V ARlANCE to Section 1004.02D4 of <br />the Roseville City Code, based on the findings of Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the <br />project report dated February 4,2004; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to approve an <br />11 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D4 of the Roseville City Code for Kara Rose, 998 <br />Brooks Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
