1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE 1 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 4 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of 5 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 12th day of February, 2004, at 6:00 6 p.m. 7 The following members were present: Klausing, Maschka, Schroeder, Kough and Ihlan. 8 and the following were absent: None 9 introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: lO Council Member 11 12 RESOLUTION No. 13 14 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF AN ORDINANCE 15 AMENDING TITLE 10, SECTION 1014, SUBSECTION 1014.04 PERTAINING TO THE 16 BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS and ESTABLISHMENT OF A VARIANCE 17 BOARD and SECTION 1013, SUBSECTION 1013.02B AND 1013. 03 of THE 18 ROSEVILLE CITY CODE RELATING to ESTABLISHMENT OF VARIANCE BOARD 19 TO HEAR AND DECIDE ON LAND USE VARIANCES AND ADMINISTRATIVE 20 APPEALS OF LAND USE DECISIONS. 21 22 WHEREAS, the City Council hereby determines that the text of the summary marked "Official 23 Summary of Ordinance No. 13XX, a copy of which is attached hereto, clearly informs the public 24 ofthe intent and effect of the ordinance, and 25 WHEREAS, the City Council, as described in Minnesota Statutes 412.191, hereby determines that 26 publication of the title and such summary will clearly inform the public ofthe intent and effect of 27 the ordinance, and now 28 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a copy of this ordinance shall be available in the office of 29 the City Manager, which copy shall be available for inspection by any persons during regular 30 office hours, further, 31 BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager shall publish the title and the official summary of this 32 ordinance in the official newspaper of the City with notice that a printed copy of the ordinance is 33 available for inspection by any person during regular office hours at the Office of the City Manager 34 in City Hall located at 2660 Civic Center Drive. A copy of the ordinance and summary shall also 35 be posted at the Reference Desk of the Roseville Branch of the Ramsey County Library, 2160 36 Hamline Avenue, Roseville, Mn. 55113 and on the internet web page of the City of Roseville 37 (www.ci.roseville.mn.us). 38 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council 39 Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: 40 41 and the following voted against: 42 43 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 5
