<br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />4 ORDINANCE NO. 1301 <br />5 <br />6 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 10, SECTION 1014, SUBSECTION 1014.04, <br />7 SECTION 1013, SUBSECTION 1013.02B AND 1013.03 PERTAINING TO THE BOARD <br />8 OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS <br />9 <br /> <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE No. 1301 <br /> <br />10 The following is the official summary of Ordinance No. 1301 approved by the City Council of <br />11 Roseville on February 9,2004: <br /> <br />12 This ordinance creates a "Variance Board" to act as the Board of Zoning Variances <br />13 Adjustments and Appeals, composed of three members of the Planning Commission. This <br />14 Variance Board, using the city's standard notification and hearing process, will hear all land <br />15 use variances and appeals from setback permits. A mailed notice at least 10 days in advance <br />16 of the hearing is required to all property owners within 350 feet of the variance site. Ten <br />17 days published notice is also required and a sign must be posted on the property to notify <br />18 nearby residents. After the Variance Board makes a decision, the community development <br />19 director must mail a copy of the final decision to property owners within 350 feet of the <br />20 variance site. Appeals ofthe Variance Board decision must be filed within 10 days of the <br />21 decision with the city manager to be heard by the City Council. The ordinance takes effect <br />22 after this publication on April 1 , 2004. <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 A printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection by any person during regular office <br />25 hours in the office of the City Manager at the Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />26 Roseville, Minnesota 55113.
