A. <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />Request by John Williams for a 298 square foot (3%) VARIANCE to <br />Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code for property located at <br />1965 Chatsworth Street (PF3452). <br /> <br /> <br />Item Description: <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />1.1 John Williams has applied for a 298 square foot (3%) variance to Section 1004.01A6 <br />(Maximum Total Surface Area) to allow the addition of a bedroom to the rear of his <br />home. <br /> <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br /> <br />· Application submitted on December 31, 2002. <br />. Determined complete on January 2, 2003. <br />· 60-day review deadline on March 2, 2003. <br />· Staff Review & Recommendation: Approval w/conditions - February 5, 2003. <br />· Planning Commission: Hearing/Approval Recommendation (7-0), February 5, 2003. <br />. City Council Approval- February 24,2003 <br /> <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />2.1 The Community Development Staff recommends approval of a 298 square foot (3%) <br />variance to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code for John Williams to allow the <br />construction of a 256 square foot bedroom addition onto the rear of his home at 1965 <br />Chatsworth Street, subject to conditions. <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />3.1 Adopt a resolution approving the request w/conditions (see Section 8 for detailed <br />recommendation) . <br /> <br />Project information and detailed recommendation on following pages. <br /> <br />PF3452 - ReA 022403 - Page 1 of 5 <br />
