<br />The following are examples of existing restaurants in Roseville and the Class in which they would be <br />located under the proposal. <br /> <br />· Restaurant, Class I - Traditional: Denny's, Perkins, House of Wong, Old Country <br />Buffet. <br /> <br />· Restaurant, Class II - Fast Food Convenience Starbucks, Jimmy Johns, Mc Donald's, <br />Eddington's, Bruegger's Bagels, Leann Chin, Arby's, Taco Bell, Burger King. <br /> <br />· Restaurant, Class III - Traditional w/lntoxicating/Non-Intoxicating (3.2 beer, wine <br />and/or strong beer): Panino's, Davanni's, Famous Dave's, Baja Grill, Love From <br />Minnesota <br /> <br />· Restaurant, Class IV - Traditional w/On-Sale Liquor Service (full service bar): Old <br />Chicago, Applebee's, Red Lobster, Green Mill, Friday's, Lido's, Olive Garden. <br /> <br />· Restaurant, Class V - Drive-In: The A & W in Little Canada. <br /> <br />· Restaurant, Class VI, Take Out and Delivery: Carbone's, Pizza Hut, Papa Murphy, <br />Papa Johns. <br /> <br />4.0 BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />4.1 As an illustration of the lack of clarity and uniformity, Staffhas listed the code sections <br />that refer to restaurants, including current definitions. <br /> <br />4.2 Section 1002.02 reads: RESTAURANT: A restaurant is an establishment selling foods <br />prepared for consumption of customers and shall include the following subclassifications: <br /> <br />A. Traditional Restaurant: A traditional restaurant is a restaurant where a majority <br />of the customers select their food while seated at a counter or table. <br /> <br />B. Cafeteria Restaurant: A cafeteria restaurant is a restaurant where a majority of <br />the customers select their food at a serving line and consume the food at a table or <br />counter. <br /> <br />C. Fast Food Restaurant: A fast food restaurant is a restaurant where a majority of <br />the customers order food and are served food at a counter and the food is <br />thereafter taken to a table, counter or off the premises for consumption. <br /> <br />D. Drive-In Restaurant: A drive-in restaurant is a restaurant where a majority of <br />the customers order and consume their food in an automobile parked on the <br />premises.
