<br />WHEREAS, the Boerigters parcel has a current total impervious coverage of 4,51 0 <br />square feet, which total complies with the 30% maximum coverage allowance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Boerigter proposes to construct 1,749 square feet in home and site <br />improvements, which would increase the total impervious coverage for the parcel to 6,259 or <br />42% or an overage of 1,780 square feet from that which is allowed by the City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Boerigter variance request (Section 1004.01A6) on March 5, 2003, and recommended (5-1) <br />approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of <br />the project report dated March 5, 2003. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Daniel <br />Boerigter a 1,780 square foot variance (12%) to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code <br />to allow construction of certain living area additions at 2080 Farrington Avenue, based on the <br />findings in Section 5 and of the project report dated March 31, 2003 and subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />a. All existing and proposed building and site improvements shall not exceed a <br />maximum impervious coverage of 6,259 square feet. <br /> <br />b. The structure improvements being limited to: a front porch that encroaches no <br />more than 9 feet into the required front yard setback and is no more that 72 square <br />feet in size; a living area addition limited to 1,125 square feet; a covered deck <br />limited to 111 square feet; and sidewalk improvements limited to 441 square feet, <br />as identified on the submitted site plan. <br /> <br />c. The addition must match or be of similar to that of the existing building in color <br />and/or materials. <br /> <br />d. Gutters and downspouts being placed along the eve of the additions were <br />appropriate to properly direct roof drainage onto the subject parcel and away from <br />neighboring properties. <br /> <br />e. The review and approval of a building permit consistent with the approved plans <br />and variance. <br /> <br />j No additional accessory buildings or expansion of impervious area being allowed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Kough and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Schroeder, <br />Klausing, Kough, Maschka and Kysylyczyn I <br /> <br />and the following voted against: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />2 <br />
