B. <br /> <br />Department Approval: <br />TP/DPW <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />LAND USE <br /> <br />Item Description: <br /> <br />Request by Daniel Boerigter for a 1,780 square foot (12%) VARIANCE <br />to Section 1004.01A6 and a 9 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D5 of <br />the Roseville City Code for 2080 Farrington Avenue (PF3454). <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />1.1 Daniel Boerigter has applied for a 1,780 square foot (12%) variance to Section <br />1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) and an 9 foot variance to Section 1004.02D5 <br />(Front Yard Setback) to allow the addition ofliving area, a front porch, a covered deck <br />and sidewalk to the home and premises. <br /> <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br /> <br />· Application submitted on January 29,2003. <br />. Determined complete on February 4,2003. <br />· 60-day review deadline on April 5, 2003. <br />· Staff Review & Recommendation: Approval w/conditions - March 5, 2003. <br />· Planning Commission: Hearing/Approval Recommendation (5-1) - March 5, 2003. <br />· City Council Action: Approval w/conditions - March 31, 2003 <br /> <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />2.1 The Community Development Staff recommends approval of a 1,780 square foot (12%) <br />variance to Section 1004.0lA6 and an 9 foot variance to Section 1004.02D5 of the <br />Roseville City Code for John Williams to allow the construction of an additional 1,125 <br />square feet of living area, a 72 square foot front porch, a III square foot covered deck, <br />and 441 square feet of sidewalk improvements to his home at 2080 Farrington Avenue, <br />subject to conditions. <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />3.1 Approve a 12% variance to Section 1004.01A6 and a 9 foot variance to Section <br />l004.02DS of the Roseville City Code w/conditions (see Section 7 for more detail). <br /> <br />Project information and detailed recommendation on following pages. <br /> <br />PF3452 - ReA 33103 - Page 1 of 6 <br />
