We moved our as a
and 4 children later, we still Ii
changes. We need to add on to the
usable garage. the 18 years we have here I have
garage 1 season. It is so small that the doors barely
between the van and the wall just to in
the kids to wait outside whi I van (not very
they can get in. Also, with a 1 car driveway there always cars in
driveway as to not leave a vehicle on the street in the When an
early morning job there were days when it unexpectedly snowed 2 inches or
that I needed to scrape my van, scrape my husband's vehicle and back it
out my van and pull his Suburban back into the driveway in case the was
plowed, all before leaving for work. What a nightmare!
Our garage is barely a one car garage and is basically only good to put bikes
for the summer. Our house is situated in the middle of our lot, making it impossible
to build a 2 car garage on either side. Our only option is to build out in of our
house. We need a normal size 2 car garage and a 2 car driveway to keep our cars
off the street. Our children are ages 6 to 15 and are established in the lie
schools so we would like to stay in this house. The garage we would build
would be 20 feet wide and 24 feet deep (we couldn't go any wider, so we need it as
deep as possible). The North side of the garage wall would the same
from the property line as the existing single car garage and the
would be 41 feet from
