<br />approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of <br />the project report dated May 7, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Roland <br />Gisvold a 15.5 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code allowing the <br />construction a 20 foot wide by 22 foot deep (440 sq. ft.) attached garage onto the existing home <br />at 970 Transit Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The proposed front yard addition (north) is limited to an encroachment of a <br />distance not to exceed 15.5 feet or to a point no closer than 14.5 feet from the <br />front yard property line. <br /> <br />2. The addition must match or be similar to that of the existing building in color <br />and/or materials. <br /> <br />3. Gutters and downspouts must be placed along the eve of the additions where <br />appropriate to properly direct roof drainage onto the subject parcel and away from <br />neighboring properties. <br /> <br />4. Windows must be placed along the north and east building wall to break-up the <br />long mass. <br /> <br />5. Parking on the driveway is prohibited within the public boulevard. <br /> <br />6. The review and approval of a building permit consistent with the approved plans <br />and variance. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Klausing and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Schroeder, <br />Klausing, Maschka, and Kysylyczyn <br /> <br />and the following voted against: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />2 <br />
