The driveway to accommodate this would involve
cutting down 4 mature pine trees. The common wall adjoining the garage to the fireplace,
living room and dining room prohibits an extension of the e~ garage westward.

Hanlsllip - Ac:cess to Rear of Propertv

Constructing a 6 ~ foot wide driveway on the east side would be within 2 feet of the
property line and involve extensive excavating, a retaining wall plus the removal of mature
trees in the backyard.

Constructing a 5 foot wide driveway on the west side would be within 2 feet of the .
property line and involve the destruction of 8 mature pine trees and the relocation of the
central air "conditioning unit.

HardSlaiP - BIliIdiJu! ia Froat of Home

This option to build a garage in front of the home (west to east) would completely block
the view from the picture window and need about the same variance.

I hope this answers your questions on the front yard setback. Attached you will find a
signed letter of consent from the immediate neighbors approving my plan as originally
presented to your office.

Sincerely,

tf-
6~d~~
oland D.
