<br />B. Where land uses are proposed that are not specifically listed above before any <br />permits shall be issued relating to such use, the City Council shall establish a <br />reasonable number of off-street parking spaces for such use. (1005.01D2q) <br /> <br />c. Fractional Spaces: When application of the regulations for determining required <br />off-street parking spaces results in a requirement of a fractional space, any <br />fraction up to and including one-half (112) shall be disregarded and fractions over <br />one-half (1/2) as one additional parking space. (1005.01E2f) <br /> <br />D. Hallways, restrooms, stairwells, employee lunch and rest areas, loading areas and <br />similar spaces may be excluded from the gross leasable floor area for calculation <br />of required parking spaces up to a maximum of 15% of the gross leasable floor <br />area of the building. <br /> <br />Section 1018.09. Restricted and Accessible\Handicapped Parking <br /> <br />A. Accessibility: Provisions for accessible facilities shall be provided as required by <br />Federal and State law and shall be included in such floor plans and site plans as <br />submitted for site plan review to ensure the provision of convenient and practical <br />use of all exterior and interior facilities for handicapped persons. (1010.13) <br /> <br />B. No person shall park a motor vehicle in a parking space designated and reserved <br />for the physically handicapped, on either private or public property, unless: <br />(602.05A) <br /> <br />1. That person is physically handicapped in a manner rendering it difficult and <br />burdensome for such person to walk or such person was operating the vehicle <br />under the direction of such a physically handicapped person; and (602.05A1) <br /> <br />2. The vehicle visibly bears or contains the certificate or insignia issued to <br />physically handicapped persons by the Minnesota Department of Public <br />Safety pursuant to Minnesota Statute section 169.345, subdivision 2. (602.05A2) <br /> <br />3 . Notice of Designation: Notice of such designation of accessible/handicapped <br />parking spaces shall be given by the posting of signs designated in <br />accordance with the requirements of the Manual of the Commissioner of <br />Public Safety on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and the location, number <br />and method of signing of such spaces is first approved by the Chief of Police. <br />(Ord. 781, 5-10-76) (602.05B) <br /> <br />C. Parking on boulevard prohibited: No vehicle shall be parked on any boulevard <br />adjacent to a public street except: (602.06) <br /> <br />1. Boulevard parking spaces listed on the inventory of boulevard parking spaces <br />regularly in use, dated June 30, 1984, prepared by the Code Enforcement <br />Officer, a copy of which is incorporated herein by reference and which is on <br /> <br />13 <br />
