EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of August,2003, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Klausing, Maschka, Schroeder and Kysylyczyn and the following were absent: Kough Council Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10126 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF AN ORDINANCE REWRITING PORTIONS OF TITLE 9 AND ADOPTING THE 2003 MINNESOTA STATE BUILDING CODE AND UPDATES WITHIN THE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 9, SECTIONS 901 THROUGH 905 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE WHEREAS, the City Council hereby determines that the text of the sununary marked "Official Sununary of Ordinance No. 1289, a copy of which is attached hereto, clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance adopted on August 4,2003, and WHEREAS, the City Council, as described in Minnesota Statutes 412.191, hereby determines that publication of the title and such sununary will clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance, and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a copy of this ordinance shall be available in the office of the City Manager, which copy shall be available for inspection by any persons during regular office hours, further, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager shall publish the title and the official sununary of this ordinance in the official newspaper of the City with notice that a printed copy ofthe ordinance is available for inspection by any person during regular office hours at the Office of the City Manager in City Hall located at 2660 Civic Center Drive. A copy of the ordinance and sununary shall also be posted at the Reference Desk of the Roseville Branch of the Ramsey County Library, 2160 Hamline Avenue, Roseville, Mn. 55113 and on the internet web page ofthe City of Roseville (www.ci.roseviIle.mn.us).
