Title 9, Chapter 901 through 905.04 is hereby amended as follows: 17 18 19 901.01: ADOPTION OF CODE 20 21 The 2003 Minnesota State Building Code (MSBC) one copy of which is on file in the 22 office of the city manager designated building official, has been adopted by Minnesota 23 Statutes 16B.59 to 16B.75 as a uniform building code applicable throughout the state, 24 superseding any other building code of any municipality. The most recent revisions, and 25 subsequent amendments to such code are hereby adopted as the building code of the city 26 and incorporated in this chapter as completely as if set out in full. (Ord. 1237,3-13-2000, 27 eff 5-1-2000) 28 29 901.02: DESIGNATED BUILDING OFFICIAL CHIEF CODE 30 ENFORCEMENT OFFICER 31 32 The designated building official chief code enforcement officer shall receive and process 33 applications, inspect premises, ascertain compliance with the building code, issue permits 34 and perform such other work under the building, zoning and subdivision codes as may be 35 delegated to him by the city manager or community development director. (1990 Code) 36 37 901.03: CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS 38 39 The code enforcement officers shall perform such work in enforcing the building code 40 and other portions of the city code in their rcspecth'c fields as may be delegated to each 41 by the city manager building official or community development director or as provided 42 for in the city code.
