Parking Lot Aisle: Any drive aisle in a parking lot in any residential zoning <br />2 district serving a building containing three (3) or more dwelling units or in <br />3 any zone other than a residential zoning district shall be a minimum of twenty <br />4 four feet (24') except one-way drive aisles which shall be a minimum of <br />5 eighteen feet (18'). (703.04B3) <br />6 <br />7 4. Intersection: On properties zoned R-1 or R-2, no driveway shall be located <br />8 within thirty feet (30') of any right of way of a street intersection. On <br />9 properties in all other zones, no driveway shall be located within forty feet <br />10 (40') of any right -of-way line of a street intersection. Said distances shall be <br />11 measured along the property line from the corner right-of-way line. (703.04B4) <br />12 <br />13 5. Minimum Driveway Angle: The minimum driveway angle from a two-way <br />14 access street shall be sixty degrees (600), from a one-way street it shall be <br />15 thirty degrees (300). (703.04B5) <br />16 <br />17 6. Driveway Approaches: Driveway approaches between the curb and the <br />18 property line shall be constructed of concrete, asphalt, brick pavers at a <br />19 strength capable of handling the weight of cars and trucks (generally stamped <br />20 on bottom of paver) or other hard surface pavement approved by the Public <br />21 Works Director. (703.04B6) <br />22 <br />23 If concrete is used for the driveway, where there is no concrete curb or gutter, <br />24 the concrete driveway shall be held back two feet (2') from the edge of the <br />25 roadway. The remaining two feet (2') shall be surfaced with hot mixed <br />26 bituminous material. Prior to starting work, the owner or builder shall obtain a <br />27 permit from the Community Development Director or designee. (703.04B6) <br />28 <br />29 7. Driveways: Driveways shall be constructed of concrete, asphalt, brick pavers <br />30 or other hard surface pavement approved by the Public Works Director. The <br />31 periphery of parking areas and drives shall be constructed with poured in <br />32 place concrete curbing. (703.04B7) <br />33 <br />34 8. Driveway Elevation: The driveway elevation at the property line shall not be <br />35 more than ten inches (10") nor less than four inches (4") above the center line <br />36 of the abutting street with a maximum slope to gutter lines of 10%+ and a <br />37 minimum slope of 2%+. Driveways On Private Property: Residential driveways, shall be constructed <br />40 so that the edge of the driveway nearest to the side lot line shall be a minimum <br />41 of five feet (5') from the side lot line. Driveways On County Or State Roads: Where new principal structures are <br />44 constructed on lots contiguous to roadways designated as major thoroughfares <br />45 in the City's Comprehensive Plan, driveways servicing such lots shall be <br /> <br />6 <br />
