10b. Contiguous property owners

Allen and Mary Kay Rudeen
1250 W. Belmont

Bob and Susan Charbonneau
1230 W. Belmont

1 Od. Narrative of why this permit is needed and responses to items 9, 10, 11.

Narrative: The current structure has an area about 3'6" by 5'10" just
inside the front door. The door opens into that area and subtracts space. Steps at the
edge of the shorter portion of this area immediately go up or down to the rest of the
house. Access to and egress from the house are difficult for more than one person at a
time. To avoid the traffic jams and make an accessible and welcoming space big
enough for people to gather in behind the front door, we propose to add an enclosed
area behind a repositioned front door that will extend a little less than a foot and half
beyond the edge of the cement slab that is now on the outside of the front door.
There will be little impact on the neighborhood, except that the house will
be more attractive.

9. Ten of the twelve site conditions will be met: b, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, and I.

10. Check is enclosed, listing of names is given above, proposed plan is
attached, and narrative is given above.

11. We are happy to attend the Development Review Committee meeting
if that is possible and we are notified when it will be held.
