TGI Fridays proposes a one day outdoor patio food/liquor <br />sales - Saturday, August 2,2003 from 2:00pm untill0:00pm on the west side of <br />their building in some of the area measuring 280' x 122'. <br /> <br />1.1 TGI Fridays holds a liquor license. The uses listed above are permitted uses in SC <br />(Shopping Center) zoning districts. TGIF has off-site (but nearby) parking approval from <br />their site managers, presumably for their employees. Parking is adequate to serve the <br />additional customer capacity. <br /> <br />1.2 The City Code states that a license is required to serve intoxicating beverages. In <br />addition Section 302.11 states that sales outside of the structure requires permission of <br />the City Council; the fee is $25.00 and written notice must be sent to adiacent property <br />owners. (Staff has sent notice to adjacent property owners.) <br /> <br />1.3 The Council may approve or deny, or add conditions to the approval such as screening, <br />noise limitations, and hours of operation. <br /> <br />2.0 RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />2.1 Receive any comments from adiacent property owners. <br /> <br />2.2 The Community Development Staff recommends approval subject to conditions. <br />a. Screen all light from adjoining residential districts. All lighting to be down cast. <br />b. No outdoor music after 10 pm. Music to face away from (toward the southeast) <br />residential areas. <br />c. Patio to be completely fenced in, with entry from the main building, but the <br />fenced in area to include emergency exits. Patio must be entirely on business's <br />property; no roof extensions or canvass type patio roofs closer than 30 feet to <br />property line. , <br />d. No ground mounted signage in the enclosed patio area or attached to fencing. No <br />ground mounted signage closer than 15 feet to property lines. <br />e. No food or beverages served after 10pm. The patio is to be closed at 10pm. <br /> <br />1 <br />
