June 6, 2003

v C>>- I,"
~ty~.OO(llY. 7\0.. /
~'J

Roseville Community Development Department
Attention: Dennis Welch, Community Development Director

Reference: Setback Permit for Garage addition at 562 Heinel Dr.

In response to your letter dated May 27,2003 for the reference project, I have a few
questions that need clarification, as follows:

Letter Paragraph/ Condition Question
a&d As I understand, there appears to be two
more plans required for a building permit, a
roof and yard drainage plan and building
permit plan. Is this correct or what is
required?
b Please define "commercial rain gutters",
i.e. size or other specification
c The condition states "There may be a need
for a retaining wall.. . ". When is that
determination made and by whom? The
additional costs associated with this project
for a retaining wall, swale, etc. may have
an affect on my decision to proceed.
f There's about 25 feet between the existing
garage wall and the adjoining home wall.
The 10 foot wide garage addition will
result in 15 feet between the walls. I
believe that Condition f is satisfied, if my
interpretation is correct.

Thank you in advance for your response.

Brent Jordahl

~
