<br />rf~07 @ <br /> <br /> <br />Community Development Department <br />651.490.2279 + fax: "651.490.2931 <br /> <br />June 3,2002 <br /> <br />J 01111 & Julie Huppertz <br />2465 Churchill Street <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Setback Permit for constructing an attached garage and front entry porch. <br /> <br />Dear John & Julie: <br /> <br />On May 30, 2002, the City of Roseville Development Review Committee (DRC) held a hearing <br />on your request to encroach two feet into the required five foot side yard (south) setback with an <br />attached garage and a six foot enc~oachment into the required 30 foot front yard (west) setback <br />for a front entry porch, at the property listed above. The DRC recommended approval of the <br />setback permit to allow constr1;lction of your proposed home improvements including the garage <br />and porch additions. The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I have conculTed with the <br />reasoning set forth by the DRC and have approved the Setback Pemlit. <br /> <br />I also concur with the DRC condition attached to the setback pemlit, which condition stipulates <br />that: <br /> <br />1. Removal of south garage access door and replace with window. <br />2. Inclusion of landscape on proposed trellises to break-up wall length. <br />3. Gutters being installed on the homeyo properly direct roof drainage away ji-om structure <br />and neighboring property. <br />4. The Huppertz and Ms. Peck resolve any Snow storage issues/concerns. <br />5. A variance being requested and approved for lot coverage over the 30% requirement, <br />prior to the issuance of any building permit. <br /> <br />Your Setback Permit has a 10 day appeal time line which ends on Monday, June 10 at 4:30 p.m. <br />and the need to receive a variance regarding lot coverage. Building pemlits can only be issued <br />after all approvals have been granted. You may contact Thomas Paschke, City Planner, <br />regarding the status of an appeal and your variance request (651-490-2236).
