Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,December 8,2014 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Since it appeared that the motion would fail and was not supported by the seconder of the <br /> motion, Councilmember Laliberte withdrew her motion. <br /> Councilmember McGehee requested removal of Items 7.f and 7.j from the Consent <br /> Agenda for separate consideration. <br /> Councilmember Etten requested removal of Item 7.g from the Consent Agenda for sepa- <br /> rate consideration. <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak. <br /> 4. Council Communications, Reports, and Announcements <br /> Mayor Roe announced previews of new park buildings on December 16 (Lexington Park <br /> Shelter) and December 17 (Sandcastle Park at 3060 Patton Road) from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. <br /> with light refreshments served. <br /> Mayor Roe announced the upcoming Minnesota Wild practice at the OVAL on Decem- <br /> ber 12 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, with the Wild on the ice at 11:00 a.m.; with family activi- <br /> ties planned during those hours, including free skating with skate rentals. <br /> Mayor Roe announced donation opportunities for winter clothing sponsored by the Rose- <br /> ville Visitors Association in conjunction with OVALumination events; with donations <br /> accepted throughout the winter months and drop boxes located in various areas of the <br /> OVAL. <br /> 5. Recognitions,Donations and Communications <br /> Finance Director Chris Miller introduced the City's new Assistant Finance Director Jason <br /> Shermacher to Councilmembers and the public. <br /> 6. Approve Minutes <br /> Comments and corrections to draft minutes had been submitted by the City Council <br /> prior to tonight's meeting and those revisions were incorporated into the draft present- <br /> ed in the Council packet <br /> a. Approve Minutes of November 10,2014 Meeting <br />
