City of <br />RLAIIIIN <br />Regular City Council Meeting Minutes <br />City flail Council Charnbers, 2+ 60 Civic Center Drive <br />Monday, November 17, ,20 14 <br />Roll Call <br />Mayor Roe called the meeting tum order at approximately 6:00 p.rn, Voting and Seating <br />Order.- McGehee, Willintis, Laliberte, Etten, and [Zoe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br />and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present; and Councilinember WilImUs ar- <br />rived at approxiaiately 6:09 p.rn,; having previously advised that he would be arriving <br />late due to family conitilitnients. <br />2Approve Agenda <br />City Manager 'rrudgeon requested the addition of a business action 13a. iterri to tonight's <br />agenda to consider approval of a bUI-11 perrilit'l,"or 1894 Alta Vista Drive. <br />Laliberte moved, Etten seconded approval of the agenda as amended. <br />RoU Call <br />Ayes: McGehee, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe, <br />Nays: None, <br />3. Public Comment <br />Mayor Roe called for public comment by rriernbers cal the audience oil any non -agenda <br />iterns. No one appeared to speak. <br />4. Council Communications, Reports, and Announcements <br />Mayor Roe announced a winter attire donation drive by the Roseville Visitors Associa- <br />tion (RVA) and OVALumination partnering with tile Roseville School District, with do- <br />nations accepted at the Skating Center /OVA L anytime the buildings are open, and run- <br />ning through tile winter months, with clothing being distributed among Students in the <br />Roseville Area School District, Additional infion-nation is available at the RVA, 651/633- <br />3 O02,. <br />Mayor Roe announced the upcoming interactive presentation to meet Karen comniunity <br />irninigrants to the United States, on November 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rarnsey <br />County Library Roseville Branch, one of several events scheduled to get to know ofi- <br />verse groups in the area, Nvith as complete list available at: rclreads.org. <br />Mayor Roe announced dates and times for upcooning city -related illeetings; and noted <br />that the City Offices would be closed on Novernber 27 and 28, 2014 for the Thanksgiving <br />holidays. <br />Councifinernber Etten announced a "Walk to End Hunger" scheduled on Thanksgiving <br />Day at 10:00 a,ill. at the Mall ofAnierica, sponsored in part by area and local civic orgaxi- <br />izations. COUncilrnernber Etten noted that some of thenionies collected would return to <br />
