Plans must be approved by C1ty staff pr10r to fence <br />construction. <br /> <br />3. screening fences must be dcsignpd to effectively screen <br />parking areas and commercial activities from adjoining <br />residential properties. <br /> <br />4. Fen~p. construction must be performed to meet acceptable <br />city code recJireMcnts relating to good construction <br />deslgn and ~ldctice3. <br /> <br />5. Fences must be adquately supported to withstand normal <br />wind loads and erosion concerns. <br /> <br />6. Life safety and pUblic liability concerns must be <br />addressed regarding the stability and secureness of any <br />fence, espec1ally a commercial screenlng fence. <br /> <br />7. Adequate anchoring of fence support posts regardlng <br />depth and compact10n of soil, rock or concrete must be <br />to accepted design standards relating to height of <br />fences and support post spacing. <br /> <br />8. All of the framing members of a fence must be designed <br />to adequately support the finish fence material <br />~egarding wind loads and fence malerial weights. <br /> <br />9. A fence must be ~upported by its own framing members <br />and not by trees or sc~e other temporary unapproved <br />means. <br /> <br />10. The iencin9 shall meet acceptable workmanship standards <br />to satisfy all af!ected neighbor and city concerns. <br /> <br />11. A permit will be granted when all the above items have <br />been addressed, the fence lot line locations <br />established, and any special city conditions have been <br />met. <br />
