NI. 'I

REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTlON

DATE: 9-26-88

ITEM NO.: r;:-?'

\

roval:

Manager Reviewed:

Agenda section:

Report and Recommendation

Can-Am/Reiling site resolution resolving to
conduct zoning study on sdid site, delay
development until such study is completed, and
adopt ordinancp implementing a moratorium.

The Roseville City Council, at its August 8 and 22, 1988 meetings,
tabled this item to allow the attorneys to redraft tho ordinance and
sub~~quently to wait for a decision on the m~~ified Can-Am proposal.
At ..be september 12, 1988 city council meeting, the Can-American
pr("p>lsa' was approved. Thus, it appears that this item is moot
based on the Council'~ previous decision. All of the previous items
rel~ting to this issue are attached.

COUNCIL A~~ION REQUEST~D: Motion is to approve/deny the Can-
Am/Reiling site resolution resolving to
conduct zoning study on said site, delay
development until such studies are
completed, and adopting an ordinance
i~plemcnting the moratorium.
