Mr. Lount holds a Bacheior of ArchitPcture Degree from the University of Manitoba. GARRETT G. CARLSON, 51, is President of Can-American Corporation. Prlor to the organization of Canadlan Fin~nclal corporation ~nd Can-American Corporat!on in 1974 and 1979 respectlvely, Mr. Carlson served as President anG Chairman of the Board of Shelter Corporation of America, Inc., a publIcly-owned company involved in all facets of real estate develop~ent. From 1964 until lY70, ~r. Carlson was Director of Real Estate and Development for Bor-Son construction, Inc. and in that capacity participated in comloerclal, office, retail, and industrial developments. Mr. Carlson majored in Economics and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Univ~rsity of Minnesota. ARNI C. THORSTEINSON, 39, is PreSIdent of Shelter Canadian HOldings Li~ited. Prior to jOlnlng Shelter corporat~on of Canada in 1976, Mr. Thorsteinson was employed by RiChardson Securitles of Canada, initially as a financlal analyst and later as an underwriting executive. Mr. Thorsteinson currently serves on tbe board of direc~0rs of Montreal Trust Company, Unicorp Resources ~imited, Global Comlnunication and Federal Industries Limited. Mr. Thorsteinson holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (honors) fr~m the U~iversity of :.anitoba and was awarded the deSIgnation of Chartered Financial Analyst 1n 1974. MAR~ K. JOSEPH, 49, BaltImore, Maryland, is PreSident of Shelter Development Corporation. Until recently, Mr. Joseph was a Managing partner of the law firm of Gallagher, Evelip& & Jones, Baltimore, MarYland, specialiZing in corporate and real estate law. Mr. Jo~eph prevIously served as development dlrector and counsel to the Mayor of Baltimore, serVing on the City Plan~:ng CommiSSion, Commlssloners of Finance, and the Regional Planning Councli. From 1968 to 1971, Mr. Joseph was Baltimore's Deputy HOUSing commissioner. Mr. Joseph nas also been President of the BaltiMore City School Board. Mr. Joseph IS ~ graduat~ of Bro~n UniverSity and holds a J.D. degree from the Harvard law Sch~ol.
