<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of October, 2002, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Maschka, Klausing, Schroeder, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10042 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1016.16A (STRUCTURE <br />DESIGN STANDARDS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED ALONG NORTH GLUEK LANE (pF 3431). <br /> <br />13.5 foot variance to Section 1004.02D4 (Side Yard setback Adjacent a Public Street) to allow <br />construction of certain home improvements and an attached garage to the principal structure at <br />388 South McCarrons Boulevard. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Timothy and Marsha Brucciani-Horvath have requested a variance to <br />Section 1016.16A (Structure Design Standards) in order to construct a home on their vacant lot <br />along North Gluek Lane; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Brucciani-Horvath parcel is located on the south side of North Gluek <br />Lane (unaddressed) and legally described at as: <br /> <br />That part of Lot 1, Block 2 Midway Acres; lying westerly of the following described line: <br />Beginning at a point of the north line of said Lot 1, distant 182 feet easterly of the <br />northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence southerly a distance of 190. 46 feet to a point of the <br />southeasterly line of said Lot 1, distant 184.38feet northeasterly of the southwest corner of <br />said Lot 1, and there terminating. P¡D Number: 09-29-23-34-0029 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 10 16.16A requires a minimum setback from a wetland of 50 feet; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brucciani-Horvath proposal desires to construct their home on the lot they <br />purchased in 1985 10 feet from the newly established wetland delineation boundary; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the placement of the principal structure and attached garage requires a 40 <br />foot variance to Section 10 16.16A of the Roseville City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Brucciani-Horvath variance request on October 2,2002, and recommended (5-0) approval of the <br />request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report <br />dated October 2, 2002. <br /> <br />1 <br />
