Thomas <br />ity Planner <br />City ofRoseville <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />RoseviUe, Minnesota 55113 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Paschke: <br /> <br />The Salvation Army <br />Founded in 1865 by <br />William Booth <br /> <br />As requested the following memorandum will serve as The Salvation Army's formal <br />position on the pending request from Wally McCarthy's Cadillac-Oldsmobile- <br />Hummer, Inc. for an interim use permit for parking surplus dealer shipped vehicles on <br />our property at 2445 Prior Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota. <br /> <br />It is The Salvation Army's understanding that Wally McCarthy's Cadillac-Oldsmobile- <br />Hummer, Inc. has formally requested the City of RoseviHe to grant their dealership <br />an "interim use permit" for the purposes of parking surplus dealer shipped vehicles on <br />our property that they are currently leasing. As you know, that general lease <br />agreement between our organization and Wally McCarthy's Inc. expired on June lOth <br />of this year. However, The Salvation Army in agreement with the City ofRoseviUe <br />had agreed to extend the terms the lease agreement to Wally McCarthy's pending <br />their formal request to the city for an interim use permit.
