<br /> <br />August 23, 2002 <br /> <br />Cyndi & David Meier <br />1775 Lindy Avenue <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Setback Permit for constructing an attached garage. <br /> <br />Dear Cyndi & David: <br /> <br />On August 22, 2002, the City of Roseville Development Review Committee (DRC) held the <br />hearing regarding your request to encroach seven feet into the required ten foot side yard (south) <br />setback with an attached garage, at the property listed above. The DRC recommended approval <br />of the setback permit to allow construction of your proposed home improvements including the <br />attached garage. The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I have concurred with the <br />reasoning set forth by the DRC and have approved the Setback Permit. <br /> <br />I also concur with the DRC condition attached to the setback permit, which condition stipulates <br />that: <br /> <br />1. Removal of the existing north driveway. <br />2. Impervious coverage not to exceed 3,600 square feet. <br />3. Gutters being installed on the garage to properly direct roof drainage away from. <br />structure and neighboring property <br />4. Proper grading of other measures taken to protect home Fom possible water damage at <br />the small inlet area adjacent the existing garage and living area addition. <br /> <br />Your Setback Permits appeal time line has been waived because of your neighbors waiving their <br />rights to appeal our decision. Building permits can be issued after review and approval of <br />specific building plans. Please contact Gerry Proulx, Residential Building Inspector, to discuss <br />your permit application needs.
