This <br />may have been done because the two legal descriptions became transposed in the documents. In <br />summary here is what happened: <br /> <br />At 1813 Lexington Avenue, the owner requested a "B-1" Limited Business zone and a "B" <br />designation on the City's Comprehensive Plan. The legal description for this site is: <br /> <br />"the East 203.07 feet of the South 1/8 of the Northeast Y4 of the South Y4 except the <br />North 67 feet of the East 178 feet ofthe North Y2 of the South Y4 of Section 15, Township <br />29, Range 23". (commonly known as 1813 Lexington Avenue) <br /> <br />The original hearing was held on June 5, 1985. The Council held a simila~~n June 10, <br />1985. At that time the legal description was transposed to read in the ordinance as fol"ows: <br /> <br />"the West 125 feet of the East 328.07 feet of the South 165.04 feet of the Nort~~ast Y4 of <br />the Southeast Y4 Section 15, Township 29, Range 23, (subj to ave)". (commonl);' known <br />as 1125 Garden Avenue) \ <br />\ <br />The second description is that of 1125 Garden Avenue, which according to our most currdnt <br />records is a single family residential use, zoned for "R-1" Low density residential uses add shown <br />on the City's Comprehensive Plan as "LD", Low Density Residential. I <br />/ <br />I would like to discuss this with both property owners. The City can correct this typographic error <br />by holding a hearing on October 2, 2002 at which time the "B" designations wou~abe attached to <br />1813 Lexington Avenue, and the "R" designations attached to 1125 Garden A )ienue.
