A. <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />Department Approval: <br />TP jDPW <br /> <br />Item Description: <br /> <br />Request by Tom Metz (property manager - Gaughan Companies) for <br />a variance to Section 1009.03M of the Roseville City Code to allow the <br />replacement of a ground mounted sign at the Midland Grove <br />Condominium complex, 2200 - 2250 Midland Grove Road (PF3436). <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />1.1 Torn Metz (Gaughan Companies) has applied for a 15 foot variance to Section 1009.03M <br />of the Roseville City Code to allow the installation (replacement) of a ground mounted <br />sign at the property line. This proposal is an encroachment of 15 feet into the required 15 <br />foot setback. <br /> <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br /> <br />. Application submitted on October 2, 2002. <br />. Determined complete on October 16, 2002. <br />. 60-day review deadline on December 15,2002. <br />. Staff Review: Approval with conditions - November 6,2002. <br />. City Council Action: Approval w/Conditions - November 18, 2002. <br /> <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />2.1 The Community Development Staff recommends approval of the request by the Torn <br />Metz (property manager - Gaughan Properties) for a 15 foot variance allowing the <br />installation (replacement) of a ground sign on the property line adjacent to County Road <br />B, subject to the conditions indicated in Section 6 of this project report. <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />3.1 Approval with conditions (see Section 8 for more detail). <br /> <br />Project information and detailed recommendation on following pages. <br /> <br />PF3436 - ReA 111802 - Page 1 of 4 <br />
