EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 10th day of December, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Pust, Johnson, Willmus, McGehee and Roe; and the following were absent: None. Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11033 RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR COUNTY ROAD D RECONSTRUCTION AND ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted June 11, 2012, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of County Road D, between Lexington Avenue and Victoria Street, and; WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The City Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of$1,818,943.89. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 28th day of January, 2013, in the council chambers of the city hall at 6:00 p.m. and the City Engineer shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
